Buskerud, located in southern Norway, has cold winters with temperatures often dropping to -15 degrees Celsius (5 degrees Fahrenheit) and mild summers around 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit). This region is famous for its mountains and ski resorts, especially Geilo and Norefjell, where you can ski from November to April, and for the Drammen River, which offers salmon fishing from June to September. In winter, try cross-country skiing on the Hardangervidda plateau, while summer brings hiking trails through Hallingdal and white-water rafting on the Numedalslågen River.
